The “Empanadas” from Venezuela, especially from Margarita Island and the coastal region, are made with cornmeal (Harina P.A.N.), water and salt.They have a half-moon shape, they are deep fried and they can be bought on any beach.
There are a lot of choices for empanadas. You can find them with cheese, baby shark, clams or those filled with cheese and shredded beef.
